We build too many walls in Arizona. "Newton’s Bridge" is an exploration of intention and energy, questioning the balance and momentum surrounding borders and walls. The project namesake recalls the wisdom of Sir Isaac Newton, who is rumored to have once said:

“We build too many walls, and not enough bridges”.

Simplified to: BUILD BRIDGES, we call on ourselves to take action to intentionally create a momentum that connects the current to the future, the ‘us’ to the ‘them’ and allow for potential of freedom to be realized through COMMON GROUND.

A further look into Newton’s laws shows that all actions have a reaction, and the the objects in motion stay in motion, and objects at rest remain at rest (unless acted upon by an outside force). We wanted to harness a creative force, to inspire motion and progress. We literally wanted to transform the wall into a bridge.
